Now that you’ve gotten acquainted with Ethos, the next step is to get involved! We’re a church focused on service, on community, and on helping each other and people in Chicago grow closer to Christ—so engagement is a natural extension of being at Ethos.
Use the links at left to learn more about our service opportunities and small groups.
The Well is Ethos’ student organization at DePaul University. It’s a community where you can explore Christianity alongside others who are also seeking to learn more about Jesus and what it means to follow him. You’ll be challenged and you’ll have fun as we grow together as people of faith, knowledge, service and character.
Come and join us! We meet every Tuesday during the school year at 9pm, Student Center 102 (Interfaith Room). Here’s a link to our Facebook page—that’s where we connect, announce events, etc. For more information, email Joshua Burdette at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Why join a small group? Small groups are a great way to develop your understanding of scripture, build relationships and get connected at Ethos.
Ethos coordinates various small groups, and we’d love for you to join one. Please email Joshua Burdette (email@example.com), to learn more about our small groups, and find out where you might fit.
We at Ethos are committed to following the example and commandment of Christ by serving one another, our community in Chicago, as well as those who are needy, voiceless and oppressed.
Our members are active in a variety of ministries and charities, and as a church we serve at Lincoln Park Community Shelter and Exodus World Service (an organization that works with refugees in Chicago), as well as serving as volunteers with the Wrightwood Neighborhood Association.
Exodus Welcome Pack
We’re collecting items for an Exodus World Service welcome pack that will greet a new refugee family that arrives in Chicago this fall. The list of items is posted here, on the Ethos blog.
