Ron May

Ron May is Ethos’ pastor.

Prior to planting Ethos, Ron worked for seven years as a teaching pastor at Park Community Church. Ron also worked 13 years as an attorney in Chicago—four years at a large law firm and nine years as a federal prosecutor with the United States Attorney’s Office. Ron is a graduate of Indiana University, Vanderbilt Law School, and has a Master of Divinity degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.

Ron is ordained in the Presbyterian Church in America; Ethos is a recognized church plant of the PCA, based in the Chicago Metro Presbytery. He and his family have lived in Chicago’s Lincoln Park and Lakeview neighborhoods for nearly 25 years. He is married to Jane May, and they have three daughters.
