Reading Services

We believe that the arts are a powerful means of expressing truth about God, our world and ourselves. We also believe that artists in all media (authors, painters, musicians, actors) and from all backgrounds (different eras, different experiences, even different worldviews or religions) have created works that shed light on these important truths.

Our readings services examine issues such as perseverance, justice, hope and faith through the lens of art. In a readings service, we look at how several artists have approached the topic, and hope that through their insights, we gain a fuller understanding. Following these “readings” (which could be readings, movie clips, dramatic performances or songs), Ron speaks on the topic from a Biblical perspective, helping us synthesize our observations within the context of the Gospel.
